• Hi, recently i have a problem with my wordfence. I have a site and in a subdirectory a forum for the site. If other administrator login in the admin page of the forum, the wordfence plugin lock them out. And all i can do is whitelist their ip.
Wordfence tell me he blocked ip but do not show me the block anywhere but in the Top IPs Blocked Firewall page.

    How can i avoid this?

  • Hi,

You should see the blocked IP in (Wordfence > Firewall > Blocked), to disable the firewall running on that subdirectory please use this method.

Let me know how it goes,
    Thanks.

that’s what i expected. But nope. The ip is blocked and not showed in the blocked list. All i can do is whitelist the ip and magically it works.
Is like the list only show the blocked ip for the wordpress directory and not in the sub.

Now i changed in learning mode and seems better.

    Hi @simmonsstummer

The blocked IP will be in the list for the time set in “How long is an IP address blocked when it breaks a rule” option, so if you didn’t catch the IP in this time window, you won’t see it in the list.

Yes, changing the Firewall Status to “Learning Mode” for a couple of days should help in resolving this issue as well, to learn more about how Learning Mode works, check this guide.

    Thanks.
