Locked out and cannot activate the reset setting fix

    All was fine last night and this morning. I became locked out of my site this afternoon. The only way I am logged in now is from the FTP renaming of the plugin.

    I installed and activated the reset plugin you have at

    The reset plugin will not allow me to access the setting to do the reset. I am renaming the wp security and firewall back to the suggested temp name so I can at least access my site. I have no idea what I can do until I get this fixed, though.

    How can I dump the whole plugin and fix the aiowps file please? I obviously have no idea what I am doing because I was very careful and set it up as instructed, being careful to not activate anything that may do… what it is doing right now. Spending hours trying various fixes is frustrating. I obviously need to use something else meant for people who have no idea about the php files, hta-whatever file, and so on.

    I am to the point of resetting my whole site and starting all over again, sans this plugin. That would suck, but I am done. I am sorry, but it is 2 am and I am a little cranky after spending hours trying all of the fixes.

    I found your page for the reset plugin and the instructions to find another way to deactivate the AIOWPS through the Setting area. Whew.

    All is deactivated. I do like your plugin, but the login lockout feature is something I must be doing wrong, or…?

    I will read through your troubleshooting page and see how to proceed, but tomorrow when the sun is up. I am tired. (wry smile)

    I am reading, and rereading the instructions before I reactivate the plugin. I disabled the user/membership feature, not needing it. I will make sure to not do anything over Basic, having a very simple site. I am not selling anything, etc., meaning the only things I need to active are the Basic features. I do need to remember to watermark my images at some point.

    In my review, I recommended the plugin along with downloading the reset plugin in case of boo-boos, to thoroughly read through the instructions, and to not activate anything above what you understand or need. ;D
