Locked out due to EU vs. Country

    Hello,
    I just installed the plugin (thanks, works great now!!!) and immediately locked myself out. I had the whitelist set to DE, my IP was reported as EU, and setting the rule to whitelisting locked me out. I would suggest the following:
    a. for EU adding both EU and the country
    b. when submitting, doing a lockout-check and warning before saving
    c. …or add a “Self-Lockout Test” button to the form

    Hi internationils,
    I’m sorry for my poor UI design of this plugin.

    Please refer to my blog post about how to revive your site at your emergency.

    At first, I cannot find the country code EU in the list of ISO 3166-1 alpha-2. So we have to investigate which area (country) does the EU covers. I would let you know about it at this thread if I can find the answer.

    And the second, yes you’re right, you may not be blocked if you set both DE and EU.

    Then at last, yea, this plugin should call attention before the user is locked out! I would like to implement it in near future.

    Hi,
    the EU is one of the exceptional reservations:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-1_alpha-2#EU … looking at a few geolocators, the IP I am currently in can be EU,NL,DE … maybe a button to scan all selected APIs for the current IP would be helpful too?

    Thank you for your imformation about EU. Wow, you live in complecated area.

    Actually, the country code derived from IP address depends on the geolocation database of service providers. There are many geolocation service providers, but the source of database is not so many, Maxmind, IP2Location, Neustar… And now I’m very interested in your idea. I think the implementation is not so difficult. So after my research, I will decide it’s useful or not for the users.
