    WordPress 5.0.3
    Server: Apache/Linux
    PHP Version: 7.3
    Browsers used on Win10 64bit

I just updated to Login No Captcha reCAPTCHA 1.3.1

Plugin is locking me out of Chrome only.
At first, there is only a space where reCaptcha should be.
Then I get this large message:
    https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4864/46791471282_3b35a6447e_o.jpg

I can log in on firefox or opera. I cannot log in on chrome.

This is repeatable across several websites where I have this plugin installed.

    I hope this helps

Sorry to hear this is happening. I’ve not been able to reproduce it on any of my own websites or client websites (i.e. it shows the correct reCaptcha, not a network error). If you roll back to 1.3 does it solve the issue?

Hoping to get to the bottom of this…

Worst case, you can always remove the plugin folder itself from the plugins directory and that will force-disable the plugin if you are locked out of the admin.

Okay, I’ve rolled it back to 1.26.
I also deactcivated all existing plugins except LNCR, and am still getting the same results, even after clearing the cache, etc.

I’m at a loss. I now wonder if the problem is not likely your plugin, but something wonky on my side, possibly Chrome.

It is unfortunate that it seems repeatable on all my sites that use this plugin. Frustration.

    Hiya,

I’m not able to reproduce this issue and haven’t had any similar reports so far, so I do suspect something specific to your configuration. The message would seem to indicate that some of the javascript is loading, but then it can’t make a network connection to complete what it is doing to load the rest of the reCaptcha tick box.

Are there any errors in the javascript console? Anything reported as being blocked from loading there? Effectively nothing should have changed from 1.3 to 1.3.1, so could this issue have been going on for awhile?

Also, are you using a plugin that could be caching the login page? Is it possible that one bad loading experience is now cached? Just a random thought.

Do let me know if I can help–sorry to hear it’s happening!

Getting the below in the console. I deactivated all other plugins, including caching.
It looks like google thinks there’s a credit card input on the page.

This is not https, so it may have something to do with changes made to reCaptcha with Chrome on google’s end.

I had to disable the plugin too. Couldn’t log in at all to Admin since last update.

    Any updates on this issue?

@twgerber are you using the latest (v1.5) version of the plugin?

I was on the latest version when I first replied. I have updated plugins a few times since then but not sure if yours was one. When was 1.5 released?

    I will enable and retest.
