Locked out of website

    I disabled enhanced protection and removed the auto_prepend directive from php.ini the user.ini also is empty right now and I’m locked out of the site. I tried logging in but the page just keeps loading. I do not have .htaccess on my server as it is nginx. Please help.

    I’ve temporarily resolved this by renaming the wordfence directory

  • Hi @paramathesh,

    If you properly removed all reference to the “Extended Protection”, could it be related to caching (from a plugin, your browser or another mechanism implemented by your hosting provider)?

    Also, can you see any errors in the logs?
