  • Hello Chiomastudiochi,

Sorry for the problems with logging in! Based on what you’re saying, it’s probably an issue related to your theme. First, make sure to try reverting theme to one of the default themes, such as twenty-sixteen. Before making any further changes – make sure that you make a backup of your site – even though it’s broken, at least you can save it at this point. You can see how to revert back to the older theme in this older post: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/reset-theme-to-default?replies=5

If you can get it working in the default theme, then you may need to re-load the theme or consult with the theme developer to troubleshoot the issue.

    I hope that helps!

    Regards,

And that’s why editing via APPEARANCE->EDITOR is a bad idea!

Do you have FTP or control panel access to your site? If so, download a clean copy of your theme and upload its functions.php over the one you just edited.

In the meantime you can recover your site by using FTP or control panel access to rename the directory wp-content/themes/envye-penelope to wp-content/themes/envye-penelope-disabled. WordPress will then switch to the current default theme, twentysixteen.
