Locked Page Custom Message

  • Is there a way to have a custom message or page based on a group locking a given page or areas in a site.

    The reason I ask is that right now all you get is a blank page. Kind of need to guide the user to know what happen and how they can get the access they are seeing.

    Also, can you tell me if this plugin works with Buddy Press and if its possible to to a link in the profile menu they can click on to to restricted page. I am wanting to put conference code info in this are

    Hi,

    You can use Groups 404 Redirect to lead to a specific page where you would provide info. There you could also use the [groups_login] shortcode (see also the documentation) to provide a login form and more info about how they can get access.

    Regarding BuddyPress, yes, also you can add a link to the access page above.
