• Hi – how do we ensure there’s no ability for any rogue users to ‘add’ or ‘modify’ any entries? We’re not planning on implementing any forms to ingest data, we just want to manage/maintain the table internally and have it read-only.

    If you’re not providing public access to either the [pdb_signup] or [pdb_record] shortcodes there will be no direct way for a site visitor to change the database.

    That leaves other means for getting to the database which are beyond the scope of what the plugin can do, because you’ll need to tighten up the security of your entire site. You can get a start on this with a security plugin, but honestly, I’d suggest talking to your web host about your security concerns and what they can do to help.
