Locking Full Site Editing Templates

Hello,

is it possible to lock Full Site Editing Templates?

I’d imagine something like this: In my theme I’ll define some html template files. Users then have some degree of customization, but only inside blocks where Inner Block Templates are not locked, but can’t change any parent blocks when overwriting templates to the database.

If something like that exists, I’d be happy about a Link to some example on GitHub or a documentation page.

Two other things I thought about:

– Create a parent block that includes all other blocks and that is locked. Without that parent block using the theme wouldn’t make any sense, so users are basically forced.

– Listening to redux events and stop them (if possible with middleware – is it?) or dispatch a redo.

I’d prefer a non-hacked solution though.
