• Hey there!

    First off I want to say that your plugin is fantastic – I’ve already recommended it to multiple people so thank you for the hard work and great product.

    Our site is encountering a lot of people being locked out when trying to log in that are normal visitors that have registered to post on our forums. I was wondering if there is a way to relax on the lockouts for our site specifically or if there’s anything you notice may be causing this issue. It seems to be about 10% of our visitors that come from all around the globe.

    Thanks again!

    Hi!

    Being locked out how? Please be more specific, what reason(s) do you see on the Activity tab? What URL do you see for those lockouts?

    Hi,

    We’ve just started to experience a similar issue migrating the host to inmotionhosting.
    When logging into to our hidden wp-admin, we get the ‘reached your login attempts limit’ and blocked for an hour. Its weird though because the passwords have not been changed and we’ve confirmed the password stored in the browser is the one being used by wordpress. Its a bit intermittent.

    @kepbem Have you changed the default /wp-admin/ URL? Probably you use another plugin? Note: the standard Cerber message is “You have reached the login attempts limit. Please try again in X minutes.” If you see this messages, you also see multiple attempts to log in on the Activity tab. Check it.

    @kepbem Do you use WooCommerce?

    Hi,

    Sincere apologies for not getting back to you sooner.

    I was on holidays.

    I’ve been troubleshooting this on and off with different plugins to see what is causing the issue.

    I do use woocommerce but that does not seem to be causing the issue for me.

    When I have Jetpack enabled and their free security login protection enabled, every attempt to reach the login url is greeted with the message ‘You have reached the login attempts limit. Please try again in 30 minutes.’.

    It was twenty minutes, twenty mins ago now its moved to thirty.

    The only way I can bypass this is by removing or renaming the jetpack plugin by ftp.

    Regards,
