I am currently running 1.5.5. I upgraded to newer version 2.0.11 but it break all translations of my website. I can see that there are major updates in newer version but how can I fix it for translations? My website is in 5 different languages and once I updated to newer version then it break the translations for all languages. Now I have reverted back to 1.5.5.

    Please suggest the fix. Thanks

Please describe what you mean by “break all translations”.

We have created Template(POT) and add translations(PO) under relevant country. Now when we upgraded plugin to new version then my all translations disappear for each string. I am only able to see strings added in the template but there is no translation. I have reverted back to old version and my all translations are visible. It seems template files become missing in case of new upgrade.

    Disappear from where?

Templates with non-standard names like “default.po” or “en_US.po” will not be picked up automatically in version 2.x, but may have been picked up in 1.x. This was a deliberate change. If your bundle uses non-standard file name, you have to enter them. See: https://localise.biz/wordpress/plugin/manual/bundle-config
