log files under /plugins/ ?

Enabling log files for s2member tries to create a log directory under plugins/ here: /wp-content/plugins/s2member-logs

A far better place for volatile files would be under /wp-content/cache/logs or some variation thereof. Placing log files inside the plugin code tree is a strange choice, and I recommend changing this to a more suitable location. Please.
