Log In Issue In Canada

  • Hi

    Log In for our site is not working. Two other admins in Ireland and America can log in using the same link but anyone that tries to log in in Canada cannot. Same error. Page not found.

    We have tried turning off plug ins, clearing caches, different browsers, different log in links. Nothing is working but it’s only in Canada it seems.

    Does anyone know what this issue would be? It’s very confusing.

    We use Canard Theme. We have emailed our host too to see if it’s an issue with them but don’t think it is and doesn’t seem to be plus in issue.

    First, it might be helpful if a site url were provided. It might also prove helpful to know if your hosting is Linux or Windows, & whether it’s shared, VPS, or dedicated. 2nd, are there any security plugins/firewalls running that may be blocking Canadian visitors? Along the same lines, might the site be redirecting visitors to a specific page depending on their inferred location? 3rd, you might wish to ask your host to look at the server logs to see if any mod_security rules are firing. You might also ask Canadians who cannot log in to look to their address bar & tell you where they’re being redirected.

    That’s an interesting problem.
