• For a long time I’ve only been able to log in to my site through a certain link (it gaveme an error message stating that I don’t have permission to enter then when I go to my actual website in a new tab it lets me into the admin). Today I wasn’t able to log on on any browser and I was unable to log onto WordPress support. The error message states that there is no such username or email registered with www.ads-software.com even though the log in details are definitely correct. I managed to log in eventually on Chrome. I added another user as an admin and I am able to log in with the second user details, but I still wasn’t able to log on if I searched for the www.ads-software.com log in and entered the details. I’ve managed to get into my site now but I don’t know if I will be able to access in future so I had to create a new www.ads-software.com account to be able to post on this forum. I tried disabling the Firewall and it didn’t make any difference. I didn’t clear my cookies in case it stopped me accessising my site through the only link I was able to acces it. I also tried deactivating all my plugins and it didn’t make any difference. I use Firefox but had the same issue on Edge and similar issues on Chrome. Sorry if this sounds confusing but it is very complicated.

Just to clear that up first, www.ads-software.com itself and your site are two entirely separate entities. If you’ve never posted for support here before, you would indeed need to register a new account. ??

Sadly, this can often be a cookie issue. It can also be caused by browser extensions.

First, please make sure that your browser is up to date: https://browsehappy.com/

Please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser if it is not.

If it is, please do these two things:

    1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies.

    2. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

Please let us know how each step goes for you and which browser (and version) you’re using if you’re still having trouble.
