    Hi all,

    Does anyone know where the script is kept/created for the ‘log in’ link in the sidebar of the blog? I need to add a target to it.

    wp-includes > widgets.php

    This is the default location. Themes will sometimes use this same file or one of there own that will mostly be located in the sidebar.php file of the theme

    Yes. It’s inside wp-includes/general-template.php — look for the function: wp_loginout

    That is where that link is constructed, regardless of whether or not it’s a widgetized sidebar
