• The conditional menu keeps forgetting when people are logged in or not.
You have to refresh the page for it to know you’re logged in.
Does anyone have any advice on what I should be looking for to resolve this?

Note: I am using W3 caching but it’s a problem whether or not I’m using caching.

    Hi @cbcbcb,

It looks like a caching issue or theme/plugin conflict, do you use server side caching e.g. Memcached, Varnish cache or CloudFlare? Do you have the latest version of the Ultimate member plugin installed?
Please try to do a quick conflict test so we can rule out any conflicts with your theme or other plugins and see if this issue goes away.
Here is the doc on how to do a conflict test if you are not sure how to do it.

    Regards.

Thanks for your help. Yes, I went through all those tests and came up empty-handed.

I need to clarify my issue in that that the member remains logged in essence but the conditional menu defaults back to indicating that the member is not. In my case this means it says “Log in” because the conditional menu thinks the member is logged out.

Adding to the mystery is that this issue ONLY happens when the member navigated to the front page. All other navigations are fine.

My workaround has been to make the link to the front page a custom link that adds
    /?anything to the URL.

    Any ideas?
