Logged in as admin, see coming soon page

I started site with index in the wordpress/ folder , then changed to root. Now I don’t see my site template, I only see the coming soon while logged in. This is a similar problem with many coming soon plugins, is there a workaround for this? White listing my user ID doesn’t help either. Let me know what a potential fix is, thanks.
