    Hello,

    I use WP 5.2.5
I dont know why, maybe because I deleted all of my domain cookies earlier, but I used to have an admin bar appearing at the top of my website, when I am loggued in a tab. And surfing on other pages on other Chrome tabs.

That was really convenient… and I dont have that bar anymore
Any idea of what may have happened and how to get it back?

I tried deleting my cookies. Disabling and enabling the option in my user profile. Adding a couple of lines in the functions.php…

It’s as if I am not loggued in the other tabs

    Thanks

The admin bar could possibly be still there, but hidden by your theme’s CSS. View a page’s HTML source (Ctrl/Cmd-U on many browsers). Near the bottom should be a div with id="wpadminbar" attribute. If it’s there, the admin bar is working, but hidden.

If you know some CSS coding, you might be able to make it visible again with some custom CSS added to the Additional CSS panel of the customizer. Otherwise I recommend you seek assistance through your theme’s support channel.

If the referenced div does not exist on the page source HTML, you theme or a plugin is likely preventing it from being added. Deactivate all plugins and switch to a twenty* theme. The admin bar should appear. Restore your theme and plugins, one by one. When the admin bar disappears, it is caused by the last activated module.

Thanks a lot @bcworkz for your reply, it’s good to know.
I didnt think of checking it. Although I don’t think that it was “there”, because the preview of scheduled articles would lead me to a 404.

In the meantime, I managed to solve the issue by… clearing all my cookies.

Which makes sense I think, because the issue appeared when I cleared my domain cookies… although I don’t know why

I’ll mark the issue as resolved
    Thanks
