Logged in menu not working on Events page

I’m trying out The Events Calendar plugin, and and having a small issue. On the Events page on my site, the menu shows only the “logged out” menu, even when I’m logged in. All other pages on the site show the correct navigation menu, depending on the visitor’s status of “logged in” or “logged out”. Does anyone have any ideas why it’s not working on the Events page? I’m using WP 4.9.8 with the twenty-seventeen theme.

edit: found the problem. I recently switched to https, and forgot to update the custom link in the menu. after changing it to https, it works properly now.
