Since the last update I can no longer see the normal website when logged in. I’ve tried different accounts, clearing local cache, resetting, turning on and off the plugin, all to no avail. What gives?

Nothing has changed in the functionality since the last update, we just removed the blog from the side bar and changed out the graphics.

Is the domain that you login on the same as the front end of the website?

    What’s the url?

Also try this, disable the coming soon plugin and then view your website and see if you see the WordPress black admin bar at the top. We use the same variable the built in WordPress admin bar uses. If you don’t see it then a WordPress configuration error. Like the back end and front end being on different urls. If you do see let me know.

    Thanks

Okay, so the issue was unrelated to this plugin, it was just an effect of a WordPress config issue on my part, namely this one: https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/a/190758

General and blog address URLs mismatched in my install with one excluding the “www” part, which caused all kinds of issues that I didn’t realize. One of these included the admin bar not being shown on the front page of the site.

Definitely an edge case, writing it up here for posterity.

    Thanks for posting an update!

Same for www. or not, or even http or https ??

This is a great plugin! ??

Yep the front end and back end need to be on the exact same domain.

Maybe you should add this information in the faq?

    My 2 cents ??

This is a WordPress config issue, not an issue with the plugin, read the thread above for an explanation. ??

But I may add it in, it’s an edge case.

I say that I say nothing. But personally I would add it.

Anyway, love ur plugin with this info in faq or not ??

    Have a nice day!

Hi, I’m using your plugin for a wmpl translated side. WordPress Address (URL)and Site Address (URL) are different. Side Adress contains www. Also when switching to German, the side jumps to another domain .de.
Up until yesterday the coming-soon-page was shown but I could see my page when logged in as admin. I could switch from German to english no problem. Then yesterday when I switched to German, I did see the Coming-Soon-Page and today after restarting the computer I see the Coming-Soon-Page always.
Any Ideas of why the plugin worked up until yesterday and not anymore? I have deactivated all plugins, but it didn’t work so far.
I would hightly appriciate some help.
    Thanks Sacha

UPDATE: I reinstalled and now it’s working again.

We use the WordPress is_logged_in flag. So if you log in on domain a.com and view the site on b.com WordPress won’t see you as logged.
