Logged in subscribers can see the site while in Maintenance Mode?

I want to put the site into maintenance mode for a few hours during a theme change. I’m testing in development, but if a regular user (Subscriber, Customer…) is already logged into the site, they can immediately see the site when your plugin is active.

If the person is NOT logged in, they see the simple Maintenance Mode page I created.

Many of our site visitors are always logged in. Can I limit access to only those with an Admin and Editor role during the maintenance period?
