Logged-In users cannot access restricted content Without refreshing page

Hi There,
It seems that after the most recent plugin update we are experiencing issues with logged in users being able to view the restricted page content. This is what is happening:– User visits the Portal page – they see the “error message” that says the content is restricted and they must login or register.
-The user logs in and is directed back to the Portal page but they STILL see the error message unless they refresh the page within their browser.
-Additionally, if the user is ALREADY logged in and they visit the Portal page they still see the Error message unless the page is refreshed.There are no caching plugins installed on the website in question. No changes or additional were made to the site other than plugin updates.
