    Hi,
I installed members to be able to hide one page completely from all users unless they are logged in and have a specific role assigned. I created the page and gave access only to Adminstrators and this specific role. So far so good.

It works for me every time as administrator. Sometimes for members it doesn’t work. It just goes on an infinite loop. They go to my-account and log-in. Then they go to the page which tells them they aren’t allowed in, they go back to my-account but it shows they are logged in already… This does NOT happen every time, only sometimes… I have a test logon (not administrator) where this was working okay yesterday and today it is not…

I cannot troubleshoot to see if any current plugins are causing this trouble because the admin doesnt have the problem.

I really like your plugin, it’s very simple in its operation and it is EXACTLY what I need. However, before I found your plugin I installed and tried many others (and then uninstalled them). Is it possible that something from this old plugins is working against yours? How do I solve this (I uninstalled all other plugins I used earlier)?

Can you help me? Do you need log in info to check my site?

    Thanks!

    Hi @jkocken

It sounds like this might be some caching issue. Please disable all caching on your website temporarily to see if this helps. Let me know how it goes.

Thanks for your fast answer. I disabled all caching and sofar it seems good. The complaints stopped. Though it was a randomized problem so I can’t guarantee that this is now fixed in full.

If this did fix it, can I activate the caching again or does it not work with caching enabled?

You can try to enable caching, but you might ask the caching plugin author if there’s any way to exclude login and account pages from caching.

    Cheers
