• I have tested this out in an incognito window. I used another email address to subscribe to my site. But then in a later session when I open a new incognito window to log in, it takes me to WordPress.com and tells me to log in. I’m worried that people who subscribed will not be able to access my Leaky Paywall pages if they sign out and need to sign back in. Help is appreciated!

Hello. Is your site hosted on WordPress.com? If so, I would ask their support if there is a setting on your account that could be causing the issue.

Thank you Jeremy, yes it is. I will ask WordPress then. I thought maybe it was a Leaky Paywall issue but perhaps not.

Issue resolved: I learned that using Leaky Paywall (or any other login option) requires you to switch off WordPress SSO. From Settings > Security, UNCHECK “Allow users to log in to this site using WordPress.com accounts”. Now I am able to log in in an incognito window with my test account; HOWEVER I can no longer edit pages as I had previously (by going to the bottom of a page and clicking “Edit”). When I do this, I get redirected to the login page. I can successfully edit pages from WP Admin, though. Not sure what is going on.
