Logging In Problem

    Hi, I have had my website https://www.stevetallamy.com for many years now and have never had any problems logging in or posting. Today I attempted to log in and got the following script/screen appear. I could not access my site or dashboard, what is wrong and how do I solve it?

    Try removing the twitter plugin from the plugins folder by by using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    Thanks but I can’t get into the site dashboard to try anything, as soon as I enter my log-in details it goes to that screen/script with no way out. I’m afraid I’m not a ‘techie’ so may be missing something completely obvious!

    Edit: If you can access the FTP. Go this directory:
    wp-content/plugins

    and delete the twitter folder.

    Thanks everyone, now trying to contact the guy who set my site up and get him to access the FTP for me.

    Unfortunately the guy who has the FTP details has vanished and I cannot access the files it there anyway I can get past the wordpress log in and delete twitter from my website dashboard?

    Do you have access to your host’s control panel? Ask your host for your FTP login information.

    I have my log in details but I can’t seem to access any FTP files, as I mentioned before I’m not technically minded and it is all bewildering to me! keesiemeijer, I can give you the log in details if you can help, perhaps in a private message?

    I’m sorry but we keep help on these forums so others can learn from it. Ask your host if they can help. Are you hosted at Hostgator?

    You can also remove the folder with the filemanager hostgator uses.

    Sorry everybody to disturb you I installed the latest WordPress version, but when I’m trying to log in in the page of login it gives me the following errors:
