• Hello. As the topic says, I am able to log into my admin profile without a code entered.

    The plugin is active.

I do not have any other security plugins.

Any thoughts as to why this could be? I do not know how long it has been this way, since I always put in my code, and only recently accidentally hit enter before the code. Therefore I wouldn’t know where to begin as far as other potential plugins that may be conflicting. I have not updated yet to wordpress 4.0. I don’t have any other plugins that effect logins.

  • My guess is you enabled it on another account, not the one you’re logging in with.

Or perhaps you forgot to save your user profile after setting everything up ?

Yes, a friend also has admin privileges, and he originally set it up.

The plugin is enabled. I already tried disabling, saving, then re-enabling, saving and no change.

The authenticator box is present at login, but I can leave it empty and still log in.

    Hello again, any assistance?

The problem still persists. I have admin privileges and would like to have this 2-step log in security in place. I am currently able to ignore the Google authenticator box at log in, leaving it blank and it lets me in with no fuss. It is enabled.

    Thanks
