Login and Dashboard

Hello,

I’d like to ask two questions:

Shouldn’t it be full screen? The white from the bottom of the page is really ugly

2. The dashboard, after disabling everything looks like this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/tsfe02dsg2ery92/dasb.PNG?dl=0
Is there a way to hide “welcome to wordpress” and add other features to this page? Like analytics or other relevant information ?
