• After adding pages and changing Home page reference I have possibly corrupted my blog. The WP press login page is left aligned and without the WP logo. I can login but the dashboard page shows empty boxes with question marks within each.

My actual URL/blog is showing left aligned and all blue lettering!

I have ftp’d the back-up files to my host but no change.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?

    – increasing the memory available to PHP?

Thanks for the reply – Can’t access anything once I’ve logged in as all I see are empty boxes with question marks! So getting to the plugins is not possible.

I am running on the Twenty Ten theme.

I have one inactive plugin that I loaded today the WP e-commerce plugin but can’t get to that to reset it (lol)

    I will re-upload a fresh wp-admin and wp-includes folder as I’ve not tried that!!

    Thanks again (fingers crossed!)
