    Hello,

I have installed this plugin and set it up based on the tutorials on this video:
    WP Remote Users Sync Setup

I have done everything exactly as it was shown in the video, but when I login to website number 1, I’m not getting logged into website number 2 (so when I visit website number 2 I am not logged in).

I have checked my permalink in WordPress > setting > General and they are exaclly as how I put them in WP Remote Users Sync settings on both websites.

I also checked the data base of both of my website and went into wp-options > home . the url was exact match.

I have tried to check and uncheck “Force Login Redirects & Logout Everywhere” & “Force Disable Login Redirects & Logout Everywhere” in both of my website but that did not help either.

There must be something wrong somewhere which I cannot figure out.

I’ll appreciate in advance if anyone here can help me resolve this issue.

    Thank you

I also wanted to point out that Under Remote Sites I have test all the options for outgoing and incoming actions and all were ok with a green tick. I did the same on both website and the result were the same.

    Hi @babakras ,

Apologies for the late reply, I have kept my involvement to bug fixes lately due to a lack of free time.

Does the issue occur with 2 fresh installs of WordPress, WPRUS and default themes only?

Hello @frogerme and thank you for the reply.

Well actually I think I described the issue incorrectly.
    The actual problem is:
The login form in on website a eg;(www.A.com) and once logged in the logged in user will be redirected to their profile which is eg(www.A.com/user-profile) at this point everything is fine and works correctly but when I go to another page which is on the second website eg;(www.UK.A.com) I have to reload the page few times before it recognise me as logged user and when I log out on the first website it looks like the second website stays logged in until I close the browser.

The theme I am using is STOREFRONT from WooCommerce and yes there are other plugins installed on both sites.
I have actually sent you a message onto your skype as well as to your email using the form on your website requesting for your help and in return I will be happy to be a patreon to your work.

    Thank you

    Hi @babakras ,

Is the page fully loaded on https://www.A.com when you go check if the user is logged in on https://www.UK.A.com?

The behavior you describe seems normal to me: the login (and logout, everything here is valid for that action too) is done with a script called in the browser (and not at the server level) to set the proper cookies. If that script hasn’t been called yet and the cookie for https://www.UK.A.com hasn’t bee set yet before visiting https://www.UK.A.com, then the user would not be logged in until https://www.A.com is fully loaded.

By the way, there is no other way to achieve login/logout – it is a technical limitation of browsers, nothing the plugin can do around that.

How long does it take for to be called https://www.UK.A.com/wprus/login using the browser network inspector (directly in the browser)?
How long does it take for the script to be loaded on https://www.A.com, in the waterfall found in the browser network inspector?

The 2 above questions would go a long way to confirm my suspicions for your specific case, but in general the situation you describe isn’t unusual.

    Hello @frogerme

    Thank you for your support.

1-How long does it take for to be called https://www.UK.A.com/wprus/login using the browser network inspector (directly in the browser)?

    808 ms

2-How long does it take for the script to be loaded on https://www.A.com, in the waterfall found in the browser network inspector?

There are two line of https://www.A.com
first one is 303 ms and second one is 2.85 s

Also these are the cookies used:

    https://www.A.com:
    _gads

    https://www.uk.A.com:
    tk_ai
    wordpress_test_cookie
    wp-settings-1
    wp-settings-time-1
    wprus_user_pending_async_actions

    Hi @babakras ,
    The cookies seem fine.

It’s difficult for me to say what could happen without having the actual links.

On my test platform, first site, I get 1.39s for login and 2.56s for logout, and even with these less-than-ideal timings, the login and logout of the second site seems instant.

Sorry for insisting, but does the issue occur with 2 fresh installs of WordPress, WPRUS and default themes only?

    Hello @frogerme
sorry for late replay, I had a busy week.

If by fresh install of wordpress you mean no other plugins, I have to say there are other plugins installed and the theme is not a default theme.
I’ll try and upload a video and demonstrate everything in that video this week.
Hopefully that will give you some insight of the situation ??

    Hi @babakras !
The first thing to do is to try with a default theme (storefront is standard, tested and supported), and without the other plugins. Please do not go through the trouble of making a video before you’ve first eliminated the possibility of one of these being the source of a possible conflict.
