Login and site problems

    Hello,

    After following the Codex instructions on how to just get my site to display the main page without /Wordpress appended to it, now I cannot login to my Dashboard. My bookmarked login sends me to https://www.thehomebound.com/wordpress/wp-admin/index.php and I receive a 404 error with the following:

    The requested URL /wordpress/wp-admin/index.php was not found on this server.

    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    So, I moved everything back to where it originally was and now cannot login or view my page without it looking like a text browser page from 1994. Any help on this would be fantastic.

  • WordPress is looking for your stylesheet here:
    //www.thehomebound.com/wp-content/themes/this-just-in/style.css

    …but your install is here:
    //www.thehomebound.com/wordpress/wp-content/themes/this-just-in/style.css

    …index.php is missing from your wp-admin folder. I would start be replacing index.php from the wp-admin folder in the download, and see how it progresses from there.
