Login attempts: Dates in log file?

  • Hi guys,

    I get email notifications now and then informing me that someone tried to log in — probably some bots? I am not an expert.

    Looking at the backend of Limit Login Attempts I can find an overview containing the IP address and the user name. What about the date and time of the attempt? Is there any logfile where I can find this?

  • I agree this would be nice – and maybe in the Admin Panel under Lockout Log a date / time could be added.

    I was trying to find out when my most recent lockout was but since there’s no timestamp I can see I have no idea.

    I was wondering if a timestamp could be added to the log and found this post. I join the wish to have one.
