“Login & back” redirect just loops

    When I choose the redirect option “login&back”, the user is shown the login screen every time, even after they have logged in. I believe I only have one other plugin affecting logins (“Login Lockdown”) but this happens even when I disable that plugin. Any ideas how to fix this? I am using the standard WordPress login screen.
