After upgrading to the latest version of wordpress the bar on top of my blog seems to have disappeared. It also appears that it is less stable as I’ve had some weird errors when switching theme (entire layout being completely gone)

Now I always have to upgrade my blog manually so I deleted the wp-admin and wp-includes as usual and copied all the new files to my ftp. I did not replace the index.php on the wp-content. Could that be causing the issues?

Would appreciate if someone can let me know. My blog url is junglefrog-cooking.com

    Thanks!

The theme issues are resolved but I still have no admin bar on top of my blog. Anyone an idea on how to get it back?

In the wordpress dashboard go to the users menu and select “Your Profile”. The last settings in the “Personal Options” section choose whether to display the admin bar or not. Check how these are set. Once you’ve set them how you want save changes and visit the site again. Hopefully the admin bar should now be there.

This is all I can think of, so I hope it works ??
