Login by tag?

Are there any plugins where a user can log in and only be shown posts based on tags?

I have a site with varying content that is very region-specific and using the P2 theme. It’s for skiing conditions, so if a user is skiing in Colorado, he doesn’t care what the conditions are in Canada. It’d be ideal if users could select their tag-based regions from a list and then, when they log in, only see those location-specific posts.

Another example is when a user logs into a website and the website asks you to choose your country to serve the appropriate content.

Is there a plugin that would do the same thing?
