Are wanting my login URL? Not sure I’m comfortable with that. If needed I’ll set a temp one.

I’ve observed it a bit more. Seems like the times when the captcha doesn’t show is when I haven’t logged in for a while. Then the first time back it doesn’t show.

I can’t yet say how consistent this is though

What I should have asked for is this, can you remove the secret URL and leave it as a normal login like [www.yoursite.com/wp-admin].

It is so that we can see the captcha in action.

Although to me it sounds like a theme issue from your first report.

Hi I just carried out some testing on the following browsers.

• Firefox
• Google Chrome
• Seamonkey
• IE

I also did various refreshes to see if the captcha changed. In all the browsers the captcha changed and was always visible.

So I can’t reproduce your issue. Do you have any caching plugin installed? What browsers have you tested your login? What version of the browser used are you running? Have you tried to delete the browser cache and tested again?

Like I said . . . the issue is quite intermittent.

No caching plugins. I’ll just watch and see sir I can get a better idea of the whens and whys.

Hi thank you for reporting back. But you did not answer my question from above.

What browser are you using? And what version of the browser are you running? The reason why I ask is because sometimes if you are running an old version it can cause issues or if you are running certain add-ons, extensions and or plugins it can also cause issues.

Using the most current version of Safari on a Mac. I haven’t seen the issue on other browsers, but I haven’t tested it much.

Haven’t yet deleted the browser cache.

I set my custom URL back. About 10 minutes later I went to log in and the captcha was gone again.

Hi can you try and test using a different browser other than Safari.
