Login error message not showing when login url is changed

Please can you enable support for this plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wps-hide-login/ the login errors do not display when the default login url is changed from (wp-login.php) to (login).

I have noticed this same problem with any plugin that changes the default url structure
