I don’t know when it started as I only receive a ticket every month or two but I no longer get any on screen notification when logging in with a bad email or password. The page just reloads whereby it used to show a pink box stating the nature of the error.

The error message however IS shown in the URL. Is this a new setting I have not noticed in one of the updates?

I’ve tried on Chrome, Edge & IE.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi:

No, its not a new feature. It should show the error message. But some themes might suppress it. Or maybe the my-tickets and submit-ticket page is now being cached (it should not be cached).

If you’re sure the page is not being cached, can you try it with the basic wp 2017 theme and see if the same behavior exists?

Ok Thanks. I’m going to go with the assumption that a theme update is now suppressing the error message as I know the page is not cached.

I’m actually scared to even temporarily change the theme in case the site messes up by resetting something so I guess I’ll just live with it.

What theme is it? We can keep an eye out to see if other users report the issue.

    Thanks.

hmm. My post is being “moderated”. I guess it didn’t like the link-only nature.

Hopefully this one will make it through: en-gb.www.ads-software.com/themes/tempera/

I’ve set up a new blank site with the Tempera theme and Awesome support and it works fine so it isn’t the theme suppressing it. I guess something just got broken at some point.
