• I added the shortcode to my page and the Login Form does not display.

In my source code, the CSS code was there, but not the form html code. None of the questions like this on the forum give the solution, just state that the issue was resolved. That does not help at all.

  • Hello,

did you add the shortcode to your main page/ post or to another plugin that designs the pages?

I added the short-code to the page. The site is a custom-coded theme that I developed and does not use any plugins to build pages or page parts. My source code shows the css but not the html for the login form.

Do you try to see the form as an authorized user?

If yes, logout from your dashboard and view the html code at your page.

Okay, now I see the login form. Unfortunately I am also seeing a lot of error messagees (notices) coming from wp-admin\includes\plugin.php on line 1550 (undefined offset). And I do not want the user to see the dashboard. I just want something to allow the user to login in to a private members area. Thanks for your help anyways.

    What errors do you see?

There was a loop creating dozens of notices referring to an undefined offset on line 1550 of wp-admin/includes/plugin.php. Could it possibly be due to some incompatibility with the newest version of WordPress? I can’t give you the exact wording, because I was running out of time so I gave up and removed the plugin. I have since found another solution. Thank you.
