    Hi,

I’m sure many people use password managers for filling in login forms.

Ultimate Member blocks the autofill functionality of LastPass.

I don’t know if this happens with other password managers, or if you have built the plugin this way by design. Perhaps to prevent bots from filling in the form fields?

LastPass is very widely used, and I have only ever encountered this situation on 1 or 2 other forms ever.

It’s inconvenient, and not a good method for bot blocking anyway. If people are concerned about form bots they should use a Captcha field, or an alternative brute force blocker.

If you have built this in by design, then a better method is to create a “honeypot” field that is hidden from plain sight, but visible to bots, and if they fill it in, to reject the login attempt.

    Can you advise?

    Thanks

    No,

This is solved. I can see that it remembers my username/password already on UM site.

Submit a post on our forum, because we have not received this report from anyone else, so please check carefully then submit a new topic.

    Thanks

Yes, it is still an issue. I have just checked.

I think we are not speaking about the same thing at all.

The form does not allow one to fill the login details using a password manager.

Do you know what a password manager is? The one I am using right now is called LastPass, but the problem appears to exist using Dashlane too.

This is totally unrelated to the “remember me” cookie.

Sure, I’ll submit a post on your forum.

Hey gecko, Calum here. Just got asked to look at this one. I use lastpass on my mac and it works fine for me when I use it to login to the UM site. So not sure if it is a device issue.

If you create an account on our site we will be able to get more details.

    Thanks
