WHen your plugin is active, the login form that should be shown on the topics index and reply form is replaced with a login button. This would be fine except that it links to the default wp-login, rather than the custom login page we have here:
    https://77.104.138.182/~waetag86/login/

So I either need to know how to redirect this button, or bring back the login form. I would obviously prefer the latter.

    Thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

If I understand correctly, that is set in

    dashboard>settings>bbp style pack>Topic/Reply Display

items 21 and 22 – both let you set a custom page

    Hi Robin,

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, these options are apparently no longer available. See screenshot here:

yes, I had forgotten that bbpress decided to do that differently – I’m not a bbpress author.

The problem is that it is in a bbpress template, so I’d need to add functionality to change that, which is a lot of work without much demand – most users will just use the default login.

If you are fine with editing files and ftp’ing them, then I can give you a version that should work for you.

This site includes MemberPress & BuddyPress integration, so in most cases, the user will log in using the Buddypress login form. BUT, if a users visits a forum and they are not logged in, then they get that “You must be logged in” message. Below that, by default is supposed to be a login form (which would be preferable). However, when I activate the Syle pack plugin, that form is being replaced with the login button instead.

Frankly, I am ok with the button if necessary. The issue is where that button directs to being the default wp-login rather than the custom BuddyPress login page.

Yes, I am comfortable editing and FTP’ing so if youhave a workable solution, that would be awesome.

ok, that helps – I did a bit more digging and I think I might know what is happening.

Can you let me know if in

    dashboard>settings>bbp style pack>topic/reply form

do you have item 7 activated?

    I just need to know

No, item 7 (Remove Edit Logs) is not activated

Ya know, you would think I was a rookie rather than someone with 15 years expereince! LOL

That is to say, I figured out a way to resolve this that I should have seen right away. LOL. I simple created a 301 redirect so that all wp-login requests now go to the custom login page.

Thank you for your help on this Robin!
