Login forwards to wp-admin

When login is successful, logged in user gets forwarded to /wp-admin.

This is fine for me as an Administrator, but I don’t want normal subscribers to be forwarded there, as they get an error message saying “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”

How do I change it so that they land on the website homepage?

I don’t have the Pro version of the LoginPress plug-in, but this has been working fine until today.
