  • I’m also having this problem with the Android app.

    I’ve been having this problem from the iPhone app, too, is there anything we’re missing?

    Hello everybody,

    Here is how to fix this issue:

    1. Log in to the getclef.com dashboard

    2. See whether you have a first name and phone number saved in your profile (at the top of the screen). If not, fill in those values, save, and then try your mobile login again.

    That should fix it. Let me know ([email protected]) if you continue to see the error message.

    That worked! Fantastic, thank you!

    @lo

    Will there be a way to update this information directly from the app in the future? There should at least be a message indicating what the user is supposed to do. ??

    Otherwise, great app. I’ve been using it to prevent bots from spamming the WP login page.

    @chilledfresh Yes, we’re working on smoothing that bit out in the onboarding flow! ??

    When logging into getclef.com dashboard from a mobile device, you get a 400 error after entering your token, even if Clef is a registered site on your clef account. You obviously developed the software from a desktop, because everything works fine from a desktop, but it does not work from a mobile-only perspective. You should fix that, because the software is virtually useless for 70% of users who predominantly use mobile devices to log into a site.

    @androyd123 logging in to the getclef.com dashboard via your mobile browser should be working just like logging in to any other Clef-enabled site via mobile browser (see https://support.getclef.com/article/31-does-clef-support-mobile-log-in).

    If after applying the simple fix for the “User did not have the desired info” noted above you are still experiencing an issue, can you please email [email protected] and include the make/model of your device, the OS version your phone is running, and a screenshot of the 400 error (and/or any other error message) you are seeing.
