Login into Android App with custom login URL

    Hi, we use the latest version of WP and Woo. We hide our login using WPS Hide Login plugin. So our login URL is something like this:
    https://domain.com/7gf0xc2sxicfngd24cf/

    When I try to login with the official WooCommerce Android App, I enter our domain and click Next, it says “Website is being checked” and shortly shows the login form (user+pass). After entering those details and clicking next there is a new screen
    The login failed because the login URL of your store could not be determined

    Then there is a 3 step guide to connect to the website and by clicking next it tries to open the login url within the App which of course fails because the page is not found (404). I also tried setting the login URL as the website address but then there is just a message box ‘An error occurred while retrieving the website’.

    So it looks like that whenever you hide your login url it is not possible to currently use the App (except when you use Woo.com as connection service of course, but we do not want that!). Is there a workaround or anything that works out of the box? I think it would be a nice advanced feature to implement a way to set the login url by hand.

    The alternative would be installing Jetpack and logging in via WordPress.com.

    You can find more about this in this guide.

    But I understand that if you don’t want to connect via Woo.com, this might not be a possibility for you.
