    Hi,

Im using a sidebar text widget with some code to display a welcome message and the name of the logged user when [s2If is_user_logged_in()] and displaying Login and Register page for logged out users with [s2If !is_user_logged_in()].

HERE IS THE PROBLEM: When I login my site does not recognize me as logged in untill I ctrl+refresh the page.

    Maybe its a caching issue?
There is any way to purge the page cache after I log in?

I need some help please ??

    Thanks

  • This had been fixed in W3TC at some point, but seems to be broken again in the last few versions.

If you are using an ajax-based login plugin, you can try adding the plugin “Flush Cache Login”. It does seem to work with the Sidebar Login plugin.

If you’re not, so far as I know your only choices are to stop caching the front page, or to live with the problem. If someone has a better solution, I’d like to hear it too!

It has been resolved by updating wordpress to the last version.

    Thanks

Lucky you — updating wordpress didn’t change this for me at all.

    Maybe it’s the database cache?

I think I changed it this morning

I don’t use db cache nor object cache and it still happens. Using latest version too
