• Hi

The live site and dev work well but after updating to the latest WP version on dev site, got an issue on jQuery deprecated(already fixed). Another issue: when I log in one of my accounts ( Vendor role ), it seems that it didnt log in. I checked condition in footer if is_user_logged_in() it return false. But if I visit other pages, is_user_logged_in() return true. I checked the console but no issue related to the login. The administrator account doesnt have issues, unlike vendor account. Anyone experience this? I hope someone reply or help to this topic. Thanks!

    Regards,

  • I think WordPress needed to fix this bugs in version 5.5 before releasing it. I also have a similar issue. The site simply goes down and the update runs all day without finishing. Then the site cannot be accessed. I have uninstalled WordPress severally to see what happens. Even on an empty site the update doesn’t complete.
What is up WordPress, how do we fix this or we stay on version 5.4.2?

Based on my observation, the cause was the plugin Wp Fastest Cache. So I deactivated the plugin and my dev site login works now. Just try to deactivate your cache or minify plugins and might that cause of your issues guys.
