• Limit Login Attempts on my site sort of works and sort of doesn’t. First I doesn’t put out a message that you have “x” number more attempts before your locked. However at the limit it does lock logon attempts but without a message stating so. Further it even locks my admin account when I am testing the login limit with another ID. Please give me any suggestions you have for a resolution.

The LLA plugin is mainly used to thwart hackers from breaking into your website. Therefore, it is not useful to tell hackers how many attempts they have left. Also, it blocks users by IP address. So, if you try to use a different login credential from the same IP address, every attempt with any username will be locked out for the specified time period.

Is there any Plugin that actually lets you know how many tries you have left before you get locked out? I have seen it before on web sites… Or is there a plugin that, once you get locked out, it says your now locked out?

    Regards,
    Roger
