Login link not going back to page after login

    When I hit login, it goes to the login screen. After logging in, it goes to the WP dashboard, not the page I was on when I went to login.

    Please advise.

    When on a topic, I click “Log In”, it goes to the login screen. While on the login screen, the URL appears as though it is going to redirect (shows wp-login.php?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2F…..) but when I place my creds and click the Log In button, it takes me to the WP dashboard.
