• The version doesn’t matter much, I don’t think. This happens on my site and it’s annoying.

The site gets confused between https://www.rsqcast.com/blog and https://rsqcast.com/blog

www. is the one I use. But sometimes (often today) when you go to login it will force you to the non-www. part. You login, it seems to work, but when you hit HOME (which is www.) it says you aren’t logged-in.

This seems to have really worsened when I added a login widget to make logging-in easier. It made it impossible and probably because it was logging you into the non-www. and handing off to www. I have uninstalled the widget, still a problem

Any help? I’ve archived my whole /blog site and I am about to uninstall WP and reinstall and just add back my comments with the backup.

History: I used to have the site set to non www. but it caused a few problems with people for some reason. I switched it to www. and had to add a re-direct. Why the non-www. remains is beyond me. It’s possible I need to just reinstall it all to fix this, but how would I do that if that’s what you guys suggest?

    Sorry this is so long.

    Can’t seem to edit…

Anyway, if there’s a way to force the login (which seems to point to NON www. to that it DOES point to the www. that seems liek it would fix this issue. Just not sure how.

oops, found the edit, sorry for the double post

EDIT 2: People using my site seem to not notice this issue. It seems to be mainly admin-related? But it makes logging in for ME impossible normally without editing the URL after I click. It also makes using a plugin for logins impossible UNLESS I force the site to non-www.

UGH! It’s weird, I hate it!
