Regarding point 1: that sounds more like a menu item from a shop plugin like WooCommerce? If you’re using their block at that point, then their support forum would be best for that: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/woocommerce/ – if it’s something else you’d need more details on what you’re looking at.

Regarding point 2: Again, you would need a bit more information about what you have in front of you. Is it a query loop? Or some kind of template that outputs a list?

In both cases, a link to the relevant page would be helpful.

2 It’s a query loop. The one in default search template is set to 10 items. That’s an odd number for 3 and 4 columns and page is not filled. When I disconnect it from default query I can set the number, but then it only grabs posts and nothing else. I can either choose post or product etc. So I am stuck with the default query at 10.

Imo 12 is the magic number. It divides by 1, 2, 3 and 4 columns and fills the page… You may scroll down here to see. You may search in header

Let me explain again

If I use the defalt pattern there are no settings. If I turn off inherit there are settings, but then it only pulls posts, and not products and pages.

I just started from scratch and same problem. Turn off inherit > enter 12 in settings > only posts show, or one of the other. Not all three > Turn inherit back on > settings are gone

To see the setting you have to switch off “Inherit query from template” in the settings on the right. This is also described in the documentation:

If you don’t see this section, it’s because you need to toggle off the “Inherit query from template” setting.

Then I can only add posts, and not pages and products. That won’t work. and why not?

So is there another way to alter the 10 items to 12. Override this value Or will wordpress query block consider to make it 12 default for obvious reasons.
