Login & no dashboard

Try:
– switching to the Twenty Ten theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

– re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress 3.0.3

option 1 & 2 didn’t work.

option 3 made my site disappear: “The website encountered an error while retrieving https://xxxxxxxxx.com/wp/wp-login.php”

Did you upload the folders from the correct download? You need 3.0.3 – not 3.0.4

I reuploaded my wp-includes folder backup, but left the new wp-admin. Site’s back up, backend is still shot.

I might have reuploaded the wrong one. Let me try it again.

Nothing. Will I have to do a fresh install?

You could try re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress 3.0.3
